Welcome to my homepage.
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Salzburg and I work in the TRADEPOWER project. I completed my PhD at ETH Zurich as a part of the International Political Economy group in November 2018. My research focuses on challenges to (liberal) democracy, induced by populism and globalisation, such as climate change, environmental degradation, and trade liberalisation.
I am happy to co-organise and co-host the Populism Seminar with Annika Werner (Australian National University), Andrej Zaslove (Radboud University Nijmegen), and Maurits Meijers (Radboud University Nijmegen). Every second and last Monday of the month, we meet on Zoom to exchange the latest populism research and to facilitate cooperation among scholars across countries. For the latest information, please follow @PopulismSeminar on Twitter.
